Renovation of the Milton Residence
History and Description of the Project
This scope of this project was primarily the renovation of the space occupied by a small inadequate kitchen and an uncomfortable glass-enclosed porch. The space was redesigned to create a new kitchen that opens onto a light-filled family room with generous views of Asquith Creek beyond. The new spaces were designed to create thoughtful connections to the adjacent stair hall and dining room, and the existing deck on the south side of the residence. A new mudroom entrance was created between the garage and the kitchen for the family’s daily use.
